Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to online media platforms circulating claims that her beauty has not secured her a husband.

The 48-year-old took to her verified X account on Monday to refute the reports, describing them as “completely false” and “a desperate attempt for engagement.”

Over the weekend, blogs shared a quote attributed to the actress, alleging she blamed her single status on being “too beautiful”, a comment she insists never came from her.

Quoting Instablog and Naija PR posts on X, Adunni wrote, “I kindly request you to take down this post within 24 hours to prevent further action involving my legal team.”

She continued, “I don’t appreciate the fact that you are using my name to peddle false news and articles with no verifiable source just to generate engagement.”

Adunni Ade, who has featured in “You or I”, “Soole”, “It’s Her Day” and several Yoruba-language films, also warned that failure to comply would result in legal consequences.

As of the time of filing this report, none of the platforms named in her post had publicly responded or have retracted the post.
